Karen Gertz
Karen Gertz, RN, has over 27 years of experience in the I/DD field, beginning her career with one of the leading NC providers, Home Care Management Corporation. She has held various progressive leadership positions before joining the CBC team. Karen now serves as Chief Nursing Officer supporting implementation of all policies and procedures related to clinical services and quality improvements for all service lines. Karen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from UNC-Wilmington, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from East Carolina University.
