Laurie Urland
Laurie Urland is the Chief Executive Officer for Skill Creations Inc., a private nonprofit organization providing services to individuals with cognitive and intellectual disabilities throughout North Carolina. Skill Creations Inc provides residential, respite (both scheduled and emergent need ), day program, and community services. Ms. Urland has worked for Skill Creations Inc. for nearly 30 years. In addition to serving as President of the North Carolina Provider Council Board of Directors, she is active on the boards of many other associations advocating for those in need in North Carolina.
Ms. Urland holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Lenoir Rhyne University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from The University of Phoenix.
