Jacqueline Moore

Jacqueline Moore is a Community Work Incentives Coordinator (CWIC) with the Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities, NC DHHS,  and works in the Statesville office. She is a native of Ohio and participated in the first certification class to become a Certified Benefits Specialist through Cornell University in 2000. She went on to work as a Benefits Specialist for 14 years; 6 of those supervising the benefits team. Jacqueline joined the Vocational Rehabilitation Services team in 2018 and received her certification as a CWIC in August 2019 through Virginia Commonwealth University. Most of Jacqueline’s career has been spent serving others; this was instilled in her at an early age. She has worked with individuals with disabilities at a center for independent living, The Alzheimer’s Association, and a center assisting women in domestic violence situations, to name a few. She enjoys spending time with her 3 grandchildren. At age 9, she organized a Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy street fundraiser, bringing the neighborhood together for a great cause.
