Ginger Yarbrough

Ginger Yarbrough joined the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Services in 2023. Ginger supports the policy and programming related to IDD, TBI, and community services related to Transitions to Community Living. Ginger has more than 24 years of experience in behavioral health, ranging from Direct Support, Day Programming, Integrated Care Management, and Quality Improvement & Quality Management. Ginger has served individuals with IDD, TBI, and co-occurring behavioral health conditions to access the services necessary. Ginger is certified as a Dual Diagnosis Specialist through the National Association of Dual Diagnoses (The NADD) and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Ginger received her master’s degree in Public Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.
