Ben Millsap
Ben Millsap is a Principal at CCR Consulting, and over the last six years he has supported several large and small organizations, health systems, and Local Management Entities/Managed Care Organizations preparing for Medicaid Transformation in North Carolina. In addition, Ben has worked with North Carolina’s only Federally Recognized Tribe, The Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, to implement the Nation’s first Indian PCCM and continue to develop their internal BH service array. Prior to working with CCR, Ben worked in the non-profit Medicaid BH space starting as a case manager before becoming a therapist holding licenses including an LCSW, LCAS, CCS in North Carolina. Ben spent approximately 15 years at a large not for profit provider organization where he held several clinical positions of increasing supervisory focus including as the Chief Clinical Officer for the organization. During his time with this non-profit, Ben supervised the services that utilized Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant and Community Mental Health Services Block Grant monies.
