Simone French Hall Banks
Simone French Hall Banks M. Ed PSC LCMHC (she/her) is a South Side of Chicago native who got her Bachelors in History from Howard University, and her Master’s in Counselor Education from LSU. Simone has worked with communities in Baton Rouge, Champaign (IL), Charlotte, Newark (NJ), and Washington D.C. Simone is a third-generation educator, and a second-generation mental health counselor who works daily to make her family full of helpers proud. Simone is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in the Charlotte area with experience in private practice, non-profit, and school-based settings. Simone is passionate about empowering marginalized communities to find safe spaces to process their lived experiences and diversifying the counseling field.
