Margaret Mason

Margaret began working in human services while she was a graduate student at Appalachian State University. As a student, she created and led a summer enrichment program for children in underserved communities. After graduating with her Master of Arts degree, she began her career as a Direct Support Professional in a residential facility.

Margaret joined HomeCare Management, now Amivie, over 25 years ago. During her tenure she has worked as a Qualified Professional for MH/IDD services, Director of Training and Quality Improvement and Operations Director. Today, Margaret continues to work for Amivie and supports IDD home and community based services across all Tailored plans in NC as Regional Vice President.
Margaret has served in multiple state-wide committees and boards to advocate on behalf of MH/IDD/SU providers and the people they support.

Margaret lives in Gastonia, NC with her family.
